		<title>A WMD suggestion</title>

		<description><![CDATA[I think I may have an adjustment to the nuke rules that possibly might appeal both to those who like to toss them, and those who hate to receive them.<br /><br />The five day unprovoked rule was a good idea, but hasn't quite worked out in a way that makes anyone happy. My idea is a simple modification of that rule. Instead of the 5 day restriction applying to the wmd tosser, it would apply to the receiver. <br />In other words you cannot be unprovoked wmd more than once every five days. The current rules limits those who like to use wmd but really does nothing to protect people against wmd bots. As it stands now you just use more bots and can still DD the same guy every 18 hrs like clockwork so long as you have 5 wmd tossers.<br />So your guy who likes to toss around some wmd can do so more freely, but he can't grief a player. Which to mind mind was more the intention of the rule to begin with.<br />(With the short pro rounds though I think a 4 day unprovoked protection would be more reasonable than 5)<br /><br />What say ye nukebots and nuke haters both?]]></description>

		<description>I noticed that when I was hit with a WMD where I had more than enough medevacs within 12 miles I had 50% of one type of troop recovered but I didnt even get the basic 30% of another saved.  I am well under my hospital cap as well.</description>

		<title><![CDATA[Can't access buildings built on certain tiles]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[I have identified land clearing as the reason why some of my buildings are not accessible using the old map. I am forced to use the old map on my lap top for some reason as the other map versions will not work. I've tried all the browsers. <br /><br />It seems that the land type (i.e. forest, oil, clear) has no impact on the game in terms of where you build things. Yet on the old map I still need to "clear" it before I can construct a building that I can actually access afterwards. Perhaps I am the only one forced to deal with this but I suggest just removing all the land obstructions so that it becomes a non-issue.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[These are the signs you or your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend (who am I kidding most of you are virgins) should be watching for.<br /><br />Stage 1: Pointless wondering around the house and or apartment due to shock.<br /><br />Stage 2: Talking non stop about the BM and new base design and finding no one has a clue about what you are rambling on about.<br /><br />Stage 3: The shakes kick in and you will try and find a substitute for the game which usually leads to sim city which in turn leads to booze because there is no attack button in this game. Which leads to a total mental break down crying in a corner naked.<br /><br />Stage 4: After drinking that bottle of mouth wash you start posting useless and pointless things on the itch forums hoping this will help ease the pain of no OE.<br /><br />Stage 5: You remember there is a pro server problem solved WRONG! Pro is half done plus there is no cadet class so you need some skill level to play. You are fucked and back to drinking mouth wash and wimpering in the corner.<br /><br />Day 2<br /><br />Stage 6: You are out of mouth wash and realize you must go out into the real world after months in the basement. Remember the sun will burn your pale white skin very fast.<br /><br />Stage 7: Once done getting your supply of booze you wonder back to your house downing a 6 pack and a micky of your local moomshine and start screaming to anyone that see's you about all the wmd's you recieved last round.<br /><br />Stage 8: You don't even know your own name anymore so you figure you will tell Nate how to run his game and all the problems that you have found. This ends in disaster due to all the people in the forums making fun of you which leads to another trip to the corner store for more booze.<br /><br />Day 3<br /><br />Stage 9: After wakeing up in a pool of your own puke in your neighbors back yard you realize you have a job and decide to see if you are still employed. To your amazement you still have a job because your boss is an OE addict and is also just showing back up to work.<br /><br />Stage 10: You and your boss spend they day talking about the last round which takes the edge off and you begin to relax and somewhat forget about the game.<br /><br />Day 4<br /><br />Stage 11: You and your boss have figured out the perfect combination of cheap vodka and tylenol 3's to make it threw the days without to much pain.<br /><br />Stage 12: Your lethal cocktail is doing it's job and all you have to do is wait for the start of next round.]]></description>

		<title>WMD Destroy Levels</title>

		<description><![CDATA[Alright so I tossed a nuke, recieved 3 retals. No worries there, was into a nice stack of tanks, chins, and hogs, cha-ching cha-ching cha-ching. Where I am curious however is I thought buildings could only be "destroyed" 2 levels a day. The 3 nukes knocked a couple buildings down to level 6 as the retals were in the same general region. Is it only running an actual "destroy" that limits it to 2 levels a day (which by the way doesnt seem to work either as I tried this and was only able to knock down the building 1 level, on the second attempt destroy was no longer an option. I dont really mind, other than I had ate a nuke a day or two prior and had already used my repair card and was left waiting a whole 2 hours! For my stuff to repair and to get my max pop cap back to reload the lost troops from BM and Hospital. Guess its not a huge deal at the end of the day, just had thought it was 2 levels max that a building can be knocked down, be it by destroys or nukes.<br /><br />I know, i made that post way longer than it needed to be.]]></description>

It is a slaughter needless to say. <br />I will pay outrageous gc prices for anyone to DD and hit these guys. 		<description><![CDATA[So I get that Nate is working on BM Exploits for Round 6.  That's a big one.<br /><br />Davemichael's idea of closing the GC market in the final 48 hours is a great one though I don't know the numbers from Nate's perspective as this relates to the profitability of OE.  I don't really wanna push for a bite off my nose to spite my face strategy if fairness makes OE less economically viable and therefore kills the game.<br /><br />Euclidjr's idea of rethinking wealth as a rank is a great one, but once again "How would this affect itch's bottom line?".<br /><br />My king for a day changes (meaning all control to me  <img src="http://itch.com/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> ):<br /><br />Close GC market for the final 48 hours, or the final 24 hours and end the practice of early quits.<br /><br />Adjust ranking formulas significantly.  This is supposed to be a war game right?  Yet it's won and lost not on killing but on scheming and spending.<br /><blockquote>1. LE score changed from a simple LE formula to 70% LE and 30% troop cap (WMD's not counted).  Reward those who actually build for a reason instead of just putting up endless Nuke silos and distro's for rank no where near their base.<br /><br />2. Wealth score based on hourly income, not building cost.<br /><br />3. Oil and cash steals should be eliminated or become a small part of military rank.  You steal oil to hit and cash to build shit to hit with.  That's it.  Let's see some 50k stacks baby!<br /><br />4. Cost has to remain the base scoring factor if we want to continue with merged and WM and diplo have diff build times.  Knowing this, the changes in the cost of Marines and Tanks has really messed up the game.  Endless waves of FT's hitting 3000 tanks, gets old in a hurry.  I'd nerf the FT to an extent (raising their price would be enough to deter many), put the Rines and Tanks back where they were and then widen the effective range of a nuke or pox (in diplo) to 81 miles at 20% for M4's.  Make it harder to build a defense that takes 8 people to wipe.  Make the game more aggressive and lessen the disposable hitters in favor of actual strategy when wiping someone.<br /><br />5. I'd also try and figure the diff between build times in WM, Diplo and Cadet.  I don't think anything changes in Cadet time wise but I think they do in WM?  So if you move from WM to Diplo and have 1000 Hogs that took 10,000 min to train (ex. not sure of actual time diff) then you only have 500 hogs in diplo since they take 20 min to build there.</blockquote><br /><br />Also this will be very unpopular but put the building restrictions back to where oil rigs go on oil spots and the rest is open land.  Make people more creative and flexible in their base builds again.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[People are talking about the 'old overpop' and 'merge 5 overpop', what are they? how are they similar? how are they different?<br /><br /><u>Old Overpop</u><br /><br />A player in your cartel is wiped. He has not started to build troops yet. <br /><br />You as a player unwiped were able to ship your stack to this wiped player via your huge steal stack of chins.<br /><br />You as a player unwiped keyed in marines to train in every base up to your pop.<br /><br />The wiped player shipped your stack back to you. <br /><br />You waited 8-24 hours to hit with a mega overpop stack. Usually about 8k overpop.<br /><br /><u>Merge 5 Overpop</u><br /><br />Not so so bad initially, You could deploy Card troops to your base essentially tanks and mech and raptors (units that took up more than one pop space either air or ground)<br /><br />So at most you could be over pop by how many tanks you deployed from your cards.<br /><br />At outset, the 19k tank stack wasn't that bad but because it was coupled with CF bug for most of the round it is grey.<br /><br />But when the BM comes into play and a player can purchase at the touch of a button 32k mech (32k overpop) and attack, then do it again. <br /><br />================<br /><br />So in conclusion the old overpop required teamwork and some wit (saw a few stacks die while people attempted to overpop, or the temporary destination player didnt realize he wasnt able to ship the stack back for 4 hours). Smashed out of the game by the hand of Nate (god)<br /><br />The new overpop is an abuse of the system that seems to be intriguing to very few players (1 person in particular). Yes nate may have said overpop will be fixed and the current system may be used, but it is my belief he meant it in regards to card troops and not 32k mech stacks (something which no one could build in one base). Nate imposed the craziest hand of Nate (god) decision as a result of the outcome.<br /><br />Flame away....<br /><br /><br />]]></description>

We need more flaks back in action. SC's killed off the flaks!<br /><br />As  far as Air Goes, F-22 should be the only thing faster building, Most people dont use f-22 in combat anyways, they use way to much Fuel!<br />Make sure all Definsive units Fuel Usage Is way up HIGH so people dont purposly build them for Offense!<br /><br />I personaly Still hate flame throwers, since when did we send flame throwers in the front line since bunkers of ww2? Get rid of Flame throwers, and lets make this a High Powered Defense of game. Its time to put some thought into throwing our stacks!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I heard of ridiculous amounts of attacks overpop last night.<br /><br />One gent had 2760 attacks saved up by using their vengeance card all round to stockpile attacks.<br /><br />Put the attack limit in concrete @ 120 max (or 80 or 60 respectively for other tiers).<br /><br />If you have 104 attacks and click level 1 vengeance (or more lovingly known as the rambo card) you should only have 120 attacks.<br /><br />A previously stated bug that was to be addressed but has not been.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Im pretty sure it hasn't been fixed but have no positive proof:&#092;<br /><br />You can still overpop your hospital with Flamethrowers.<br /><br />1 flamethrower = 2 ground pop<br /><br />1 flamethrower takes up 1 hospital bed.<br /><br />Essentially you could have 10 000 (= 20 000 ground pop) flame throwers in your hospital and deploy to one base.<br /><br />Being that they are flame throwers and are in an intensive care unit for 3rd degree burns, i propose they need two beds similar to their ground pop usage.]]></description>

		<title>MERGED 5 - MY THOUGHTS</title>

		<description><![CDATA[I don’t post very often. However after a couple of days I felt I needed to reply to some of the comments that have been made about Inglourious Basterds. Unfortunately every thread started on the subject changes direction – mainly of course due to our passion for the game. I am going to provide a summary of answers for you which I hope will clarify IB actions this round & what I think about items raised.<br /><br /><u>Personnel</u><br /><br />It has been stated that we run with the same crew each round. This is not true. In Merged 4 we started off with Chags & Co but 12 of us did a midnight flit due to the inactivity of the rest of the cartel – no criticism, just we wanted more. We started up Stand & Deliver with 12 members which became 15. Team Cheney had the same situation. Half the cartel was inactive or playing pro so we decided to get together.<br />The only players who started Merged 5 who were in Merged 4 with me were:<br />Monty, Jssamp, Purplehaze, Avalanche, FarkingSmurf, Katsip, Wingman, Napalm, Exes, Ted, Crazy2068 & maybe Iceman331 ( I am not sure about his alias from last round)<br />_Doc & Ken255 joined IB two weeks before the end from Blazing Saddles.<br />So effectively we started the round with 11/12 players out of the 30 who finished the previous round. I hope that clarifies the allegation that we run with the same team.<br /><br /><u>Cartel Lock</u><br /><br />Maddyn99 had been DDed twice at this point. I think the first was by the Dementors (BaseUK2) & the second by COE. Both times he woke up & read that I had posted we had a NAP with the offending cartels. By the second time he was a little discontent (massive understatement). He did not reply to pms & simply left the cartel. How did he do that? Cartels are supposed to locked. Anyway he revenged his nuke (with Ralph Wiggam, I believe) & that was that. I woke the next morning & he was back in the Cartel. The lock was clearly not working either way. Voltermort can confirm that as he had 5 players join him in the last 7 days. Other cartels raised hell making allegations of cheating etc but the fact is Maddyn99 should not have been able to leave IB. I have no doubt he would have avenged his nuke so I would have had a breach of NAP to deal with, but I will lead onto that shortly. Nate decided to revert all cartels back to how they were at the start of the 7 day period. Very correct in my book as Maddyn99 should never have been able to leave & the issues with the NAP would have been dealt with internally. Obviously Dementors lost 5 players who they picked up in the last 7 days. Those players should not have been able to join so there can be no loss.<br /><br /><u>Destroys</u><br /><br />Those who play against us regularly know very well we have a cartel policy of responding to incoming Nukes with dirtnaps. This is mainly because we play the game mainly with conventional troops & don’t WMD very often. We soon discovered that the ‘nukers’ in cartels were hiding behind a 30K troop defence. So we took the view that if a player is a member of a team (cartel) & he could be attacked - he would take the destroys for the offender. This is intended as a deterrent. If your cartel does not want destroys - don’t nuke us.<br /><br /><u>NAPs</u><br /><br />We had several during the round.<br />We had two NAPS with Dementors which they breached. Immediately after the second one Voltermort threatened that if we didn’t give him a CF they would hit us. I put him on ignore & dealt with Lordpan after that – he made a lot more sense.<br /><br />We had a NAP with COE which was broken on 4 occasions. None of the nukes were responded to by us as we honoured the NAP we had. Ressurected maintained that he had little or no control of his players, the main offenders being Oohland & Only Girl. I was extremely surprised as I had been led to believe Resurrected controlled all things Omega. Maybe I should have been dealing with someone who had the players respect & controlled the cartel. In fact Oohland was being that honest he was sharing an attack room called #IBdeath with A Company from the start of the round, apparently against Resurrected’s wishes.<br /><br /><u>Final 48hrs</u><br /><br />From a personal point of view I knew that I would be hit by A Company – they always hit me at the start of the final 48......yawn. I was hit by A Company, A Company 2nd Team, Dementors & COE & Reborn. After doing what I could, I was wiped & nearly 350 destroys were carried out on my base. I never whined. I took it on the chin & started repairs. I woke 6 hrs later at my 3am & Choover was still running destroys on my refineries – LOL. Anyway, When I got up the next morning & I saw what had happened with the tank stack & massive stacks of BMed MI. I had a chat with my UBs. It was agreed we would regroup as we could & if our wealth could be reinstated we may still have a chance (we had significant leads in LE, Cash & Oil stolen). Throughout the final two weeks we had been buying GCs to keep our palace cash as low as possible so that we would not be an obvious target. It was always our intention to re-use the GCs to help our wealth at the end. It was just a simple tactic – nothing to do with making hefty donations (I do donate – but my wife pays for it. Those of you who have wives who hate OE will know what that must be like). I trust that clarifies the GC allegation raised.<br /><br /><u>Maddyn99, DOR84 & FarkingSmurf</u><br /><br />I have played OE with these guys for many months. They among the most honest & trustworthy players I have met in the game & I feel I have met quite a few & made a lot of friends. There are also those players who are not quite so honest, disregard cartel arrangements & just do their own thing. Those players in my opinion should play solo because they are not team players (unless of course that is how their cartel runs!)<br />What I have read in the forums in the last 24hrs I have found very concerning. This is a game. Some of the comments made are disgraceful. Without Forum Modulators where would we be? Someone has to oversee the Forums & from what I see it is a thankless task. All 3 players I mentioned are exceptional OE players. There is no favouritism. They just work hard. If many of the players who have made unjust allegations & comments about Forum Modulators worked as hard in the game instead of the forums maybe they would rank more highly.<br /><br /><u>BM troops</u><br /><br />Excessive use of the BM has become a feature of this game for the last 2 rounds. Badbadbad was king of BM redeploys last round but it has become more & more common. Its use has now been extended to offence. Only a few hours ago one of my team was wiped by spies! Over 144k of them. Nice 300c.<br /><br />I believe there were 8 hits like this before any spies went home <a href="http://up.mibbit.com/up/b6SgyNzC.png" target="_blank">http://up.mibbit.com/up/b6SgyNzC.png</a><br /><br />This is the First hit that any survived   <a href="http://up.mibbit.com/up/pxDkxPNO.png" target="_blank">http://up.mibbit.com/up/pxDkxPNO.png</a><br /><br />I suggest doing away with the BM entirely. Just have cards that have functions but no troops/units. There can be no abuse that way.<br /><br /><u>The Final Result</u><br /><br />Resurrected, Bigitter & I received a pm from Nate explaining what he had done. I expressed my surprise but thanked him for his decision. I congratulated Resurrected & Bigitter on the round. <br /><br />Up to that point I honestly believed we still had a chance of the win if we could get our wealth high enough. I am sorry some players feel aggrieved by the final result but it is something we have to live with. Personally I would have preferred to lose to a better team. However I believe without the overpop freaky stacks & massive BM MI stack & the endless supply of BM spies there is not one.<br /><br />Inglourious Basterds played with determination & honour throughout this round. I am proud to have been asked to be their Boss. <br /><br />I doubt I will be returning to merged.
