The Rules

1. Do not post personal information on the forums.
   The posting of personal information including, but not limited to phone numbers, e-mail addresses, physical addresses, names, or other personally indentifying information is strictly prohibited.
   To keep your identity and personal information safe and to keep from being added to a spammer’s e-mail list, it is recommended that you not include email addresses or other personal information in your posts.
   
2. Be respectful.
   These forums are designed to foster a constructive community. Some of our games may have a forum setup to allow competitive banter and jawwing between players and cartels. Even though players are given some latitude in these forums, purely hateful or offensive posts will not be tolerated.
   
3. Stay on topic.
   Always stick to the original topic that was stated by the person who started the thread.
   If you have a suggestion or comment that is on a different topic, please start a new thread.
   
4. Do not flame.
   Flaming is the act of posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting.
   
5. Do not be a troll.
   Trolls are individuals who post rude or offensive messages for the purpose of disrupting a discussion, to upset other forum participants, or to generally attract attention to themselves.
   If you identify a troll or flame post in these forums that matches the above descriptions, please do not respond to these types of posts. Trolls thrive off of any attention that they receive and responding to their posts will only encourage more derogatory responses and can also result in having your forum posting privileges being revoked. Please utilize the !Report button on any post to alert a moderator to any troll or flame post.
   
6. Do not spam.
   Repeated posting of a message (or very similar messages) multiple times is considered spamming. When making a post, please post it only one time in the most appropriate forum category that fits the topic of your post.
   
7. Do not advertise.
   The itch.com forums are not to be used for trading/swapping, selling or advertising non-itch.com games, products, services, or other online venues.
   
8. Do not post inappropriate or offensive content.
   Messages containing excessive profanity or religiously, racially, or sexually offensive content, or generally hateful content are not permitted.
   
9. Please practice good "netiquette."
   This includes respecting others, refraining from typing in all Caps, avoiding flame wars, refraining from excessive "bumping" of posts and keeping a level head at all times.
   
10. Signatures
    Signature sizes are limited to 700x300 pixels and must adhere to all other forum rules.

The itch.com moderators reserve the right to edit, move, lock, or delete any message(s) that we deem to be inappropriate or disruptive to the community or ban any user at our sole discretion.

If you have a question or comment regarding a Moderator action, please bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderation Team via the Forums Private Message function. Discussing moderators or moderator actions in the forums is not permitted.

The itch.com game and forums are integrated and being banned in any itch.com game or the itch.com site means that your access to all related sites will be lost.
