I figured Lee would get his 2 wins and the 'clutch' pitchers of the Yankees would be the key to the Yankees winning the WS and sure 'nuff they ended up striking out 50 Phillies in the 6 games. Hard to win games if you can't get on base or produce with RISP.

The "World Series" lived up to it's name this year.

The clinching game had a crafty lefthander from Texas starting the game on the mound, a wily closer from Panama nailing down the win and the MVP of the series was from Japan. Fans spanning 3 Continents around the World are cheering their heroes today.

Another thing I enjoyed about the WS was the crowd shots by the TV cameras that showed a lot of kids being brought to the games by their Dad's. That's just awesome. cool.gif

Congrats to the Phillies for making it to the WS.

Congrats to the Yankees for being this years Champions !

With that logic we should rename every European Football League to the "International Football League" tongue.gif
